Assisting in Interior Architecture + Design from Concept - Documentation - Delivery,

My interests lie within innovation and functionality. Producing emotional and engaging environments which meet the initial design and research ambitions. Inspired by an array of mediums, I have developed design solutions, not only through the exploration of space, but by challenging materiality and details.
As Creative Director and an Associate Interior Designer I have been exposed to a number of roles within the respective business plans of both small and large practices;
Practice:
_Championing the Business Plan and Business Elements;
_Being a point of reference within the studio for professional and technical advice;
_Developing office processes and procedures to assist with ID design + delivery;
_Nurturing existing client relationships, fostering new potential client relationships and strategic partnerships; _Communicating the design philosophy based around the key principles;
_Encouraging upstream training and constant exploration of new technologies;
_Bridging the gap between brand identity and brand reputation;
_Being a leader through ownership;
_Creating an environment that fosters culture and productivity;
_Providing a positive working and social environment conducive to retaining staff;
_Trusting and empowering staff – Establishing clear individual goals;
_Encouraging professional growth and career progression;
Project:
_Owning the client, scope of services, the project and the design process;
_Maintaining excellent design standards across all design stages;
_Ensuring design integrity is delivered to the highest possible standard;
_Taking ultimate responsibility for the proper and timely delivery of services to clients in accordance with agreed program;
_Understanding the contractual obligations of the project;
_Ensuring projects are conducted in a professional manner, consistent with core company values; _Preparing project and team workflow in accordance with the forecasted income summary;

With 15 years in the design industry across the UK and Australia, working for multi-award winning, market leading design firms, with exposure to a global design platform and experience across all design phases. A portfolio of work encompassing residential, hospitality, masterplanning and competition work both in the UK, Europe, Australia and South East Asia.
Responding to briefs both culturally and experimentally, producing architectural solutions that respond to their parameters and working with national and international clients, delivering commercially viable & high-level design solutions.
Having led a team of thirty interior designers and with experience lecturing within the UK and Australia, I take a hands on approach to mentoring - encouraging an environment of learning and interaction.
