I started teaching as a coincidence while I was working as a gallery assistant in London. It dd not take me long to realise that teaching was much more stimulating compared to my job in the gallery. I loved the interaction with the students and its creative dimension.

I am a natural teacher, however I do everything I can possibly do to get the message through, including preparation, planning and delivery. My students say that I am fun, but they also appreciate the clarity and structure of my lessons.

I do not have a particular type of student I prefer. In my lessons I allow all students to express their diverse personality. Our main common target is learning and this can be achieved in many ways. "Tutte le strade portano a Roma" as they say in Italy. ( All roads lead to Roma)

Are you an art student tasked with writing a research-creation thesis and unsure where to begin? Are you struggling to develop your plan? This course is specifically designed for those who want to acquire the basic skills for drawing facial features professionally. You will discover the magic of art and learn the essential fundamentals for drawing and rendering eyes, noses, mouths, and ears with precision and artistic flair. This educational journey will be an exciting exploration of fine details and advanced techniques that will help you achieve stunning drawings.

Objectives:

- Acquire the skills necessary to draw the four facial features correctly and professionally.
- Understand the details of the structure and anatomy of the eye, nose, mouth and ear.
- Developing the ability to focus and observe details accurately in drawing the face.
- Ability to use appropriate techniques for light, shadows, and hollows in the face.
- Achieving balance and harmony in drawing facial features and maintaining correct proportions.

Axes:

The educational course in your hands is 59 minutes long and divided into 12 lessons as follows:

In the first lesson, we will quickly review the parts that make up the eye. You will also learn how and where to place the eye in its appropriate place in the facial space. You will also learn about the relationship between the eyelid and the eye and how to draw the eyelid correctly and in a three-dimensional manner.
In the second lesson, we will review the parts of the eye in detail, or more precisely, a detailed explanation of the anatomy of the eye. You will also learn how to form the eyebrows and eyelashes correctly.
In the third lesson, we will begin the practical part. Through five specific steps, you will learn how to draw an eye correctly, from the first planning stage until reaching the final details.
In the fourth lesson, we will begin explaining the nose. You will learn how to place the nose in a cube shape and what the purpose behind that is. You will also learn how the shape of the nose changes with the movement of the human head and the angle from which we view the nose.
In the fifth lesson, you will learn in detail how to dissect the nose and the parts that make it up. The importance of this is that your knowledge of anatomy strengthens your vision and perception of details that actually exist and almost protrude from under the skin.
In Lesson 6, you will learn how to divide the nose into small surfaces. This is because the nose is a complex shape, and it is important to train your eyes to simplify the shape of the nose while drawing it.
In the seventh lesson, we will begin the practical part. Through five specific steps, you will learn how to draw a nose correctly, from the first planning stage until reaching the final details.
In Lesson 8, you will learn how to build the basic shapes of the mouth. You will also learn anatomically what muscles form the mouth area and help us control lip movement.
In Lesson 9, you will learn what parts make up the mouth from the outside and the area surrounding it. You will also learn how to see the roundness of the mouth, the overlapping lines of the lips, and many other details.
