I am a Masters student from Turkey and I would like to teach people my mother language. Turkish is very different from the European languages but also so fun to learn. Did you know that nouns and pronouns have no gender in Turkish? He, She, It = O . (yes just O ). Also, we don't have "The" or "Le, la,les".

We have different letters such as "ı,ö,ç, İ", fancy right?

- I am a 3rd year student at Saint-Louis University in translation-interpretation, an area that requires a very good level of French and English.

- French is my mother tongue, I continued all my studies in this language.

- Turkish is my second mother tongue, I have spoken this language since my childhood, moreover I followed and I am still courses in this language at the university.

Turkish lessons for any level of students from the very beginner to advanced level students. I, as a native speaker of Turkish, have a master degree on teaching and currently living in Leuven. Upon agreement, we can organize the lessons in other cities like Brussels as well.

Merhaba! This class is for learning Turkish. The main focus of this class is to learn how to communicate with a person who knows Turkish (possibly a native speaker) and understand an article or a news. Furthermore, it provides you to exercise your Turkish by speaking with a native speaker. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I would choose a person who doesn't know Turkish at all as my student.

I offer Turkish language lessons for all levels. I grew up in Turkey and lived there for 19 years, therefore I'm proficient in the street-usage of the language, its vernaculars for different regions and the academic/literary usage of Istanbul Turkish in reading and writing. I'm a philosophy student at KU Leuven at the moment, which allows me to understand English and Turkish languages in their semiotic levels and teach them with an easy to grasp pedagocial perspective.

I can also help with Turkish history, culture, politics, literature and music with a non-nationalistic point of view, since I see Turkey not as a homogenous nation, but as a union of multiple cultures and ethnicities. This will become apparent when we dive into the various etymological roots of Turkish vocabulary, including Greek, Armenian, French, Kurdish, Arabic, Persian, etc.
