A Marseille-based graduate of International Security from Sciences Po Paris (2022) with living experience across Europe (Germany, France, Spain), the Middle East (Egypt, Lebanon), and the United States, I offer private tutoring in German and English or training in Political Science/International Relations.

From beginners (A1) to advanced users (C2), I boast experience in working with all age groups from primary school students to adults aiming to take the next step in their language proficiency.

My teaching methods are exclusively contingent on the student's needs/requirements, accounting for previous knowledge, the student's preferences, and feasibility of the project. As such, the first lesson seeks to provide me with an idea of the student's level while also ensuring that the synergy between teacher and pupil makes for a fruitful partnership.

With regards to training in Political Science/International Relations, I intend to draw on the knowledge and insights that I was able to acquire over 5 years of study in the respective fields at prestigious universities (Leiden University, Sciences Po Paris). Here, I am also able to tailor classes to the student's expectations.

I am a qualified English teacher offering face-to-face and online lessons in Marseille.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, young or old, want to improve your general English or simply focus on a specific area of the language, I can create a course tailored to your needs that will take you to the next level quickly.

The courses I offer include General English, Business English and Exam English (TOEFL/IELTS). My lessons are based on certified ESL textbooks, but I adapt them to focus on what you want to learn. These can be specific topics - for example, current affairs, hobbies or work - or a particular area of language - such as pronunciation, grammar, conversation or writing. In fact, you decide the program!

About me: I am a 32 year old English speaker from the UK with over eight years of teaching experience. Since obtaining my Cambridge Certified Teaching Certificate in 2011, I have taught a wide range of ages, levels and class sizes in the Netherlands, Indonesia, Turkey, Germany and the United Kingdom. I specialize in teaching pronunciation, grammar and writing. Having given private lessons to several French speakers in my last job in London, I am well placed to understand your needs as a native French speaker.

As a bonus, I am also a journalist and editor-in-chief. This means that whether you need to work on English presentations, need help writing essays, or simply want to improve your conversation skills on current affairs topics, I can work with you to give each area a little more sparkle.

The most important thing for me is that you enjoy learning. I believe in having fun in class and I enjoy learning from my students.
