Classical Flute is one of the woodwind instruments. It can be part of chamber music groups, different type of Orchestras or even Solo Performances. It has a beautiful mellow tone that a lot of composers from different periods have been exploring through their compositions. In the lessons we are going to learn the basic structure of Flute playing, talking about sound, technique in all levels and styles, shaping a safe and strong basis to start exploring the Fute repertoire.

I am a Classical Flutist living in Maastricht of the Netherlands. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Maastricht Conservatorium and a Flute Diploma. I give private lessons on weekly basis, for people who are interested in learning the basics of classical flute playing or want to take it to the next level.

Course description:

This course is for people of all ages and levels. Lessons can be individual or in pairs, depending on your choice.

The student learns the flute while having fun, with a repertoire tailored to his level and his musical tastes.

Description of the teacher:

I have just finished my studies at the Conservatoire de Liège as an optional didactic master in flute. With a three-year experience in teaching, both in flute and musical awakening, this job is a pleasure for me.

During my internship, I was able to observe breathing and posture problems in most of the students. So I decided to look into the subject, from which was born my graduation thesis "The Alexander Technique and Breath", research that I would be delighted to share with you.

My name is Apolline, I am a 26-year-old flautist and I am studying in the first year of a didactic master at the Royal Conservatory of Liège. I love to teach, and I used to be a flute teacher, I even started teaching when I was 17! I am passionate about transmitting my passion, and whatever your level, beginner or advanced, I will always try to bring you the maximum so that you can evolve with your instrument. I can also teach you the basics you need in music theory to play whatever you want!

I am passionate about the body and the breath: I was able to participate and be trained in music therapy in France at the "Léthée Musicale" institute in Lyon, and I also have some knowledge of the "TIMANI" method of body awareness that I was able to discover in Oslo, Norway. I see the flute as a well-being, a connection with one's own body and one's listening. Ideal for young children, whether for concentration or synchronization, but also for adults, who are rarely used to listening to themselves...

I give lessons of 1 hour, at home if necessary, for students of all levels and styles of play. My teaching covers both classical music and modern flute (jazz, etc.); the work done can focus on music of the student's choice, or I can simply redirect it to methods and scores if he wishes to work on them together. The idea is to progress, but above all to have fun, the two go hand in hand.

Je donne des cours de harpe pour des élèves allant du niveau débutant au niveau cycle 3, des cours de flûte traversière du niveau débutant au cycle 2 et des cours de solfège. Mes cours s'adaptent aux besoins, aux désirs et au rythme de l'élève.

Passionnée de musique, je suis très intéressée par l'enseignement. J'aiderai l'élève à trouver l'équilibre entre la technique et la musicalité afin de progresser avec de bonnes bases tout en se faisant plaisir.

Après avoir débuté la harpe à l'école de musique de Joué-lès-Tours, j’ai obtenu mon DEM au CRD de Châteauroux puis je me suis perfectionnée au CRR de Saint-Maur des Fosses. Je suis actuellement au Conservatoire de Liège afin d'obtenir mon master didactique.
J’ai obtenu mon CEM de Flûte au CRD de Châteauroux.
J'ai obtenu mon CEM de solfège au conservatoire de Tours.

Dans ce cours, vous apprendrez à maîtriser la flûte traversière à travers des techniques avancées, une interprétation musicale approfondie et l'exploration d'un large répertoire. Les cours sont adaptés à tous les niveaux, que vous soyez débutant ou avancé.

Les leçons se concentrent sur le développement de la technique instrumentale (respiration, posture, doigté), la musicalité (phrasé, articulation) et l'interprétation d'œuvres du répertoire classique et contemporain. Chaque séance est personnalisée en fonction de vos besoins et objectifs. Nous aborderons également la préparation aux auditions et concerts, ainsi que la confiance en soi sur scène.
