Très matheuse, organisée et pédagogue, je cherche à accompagner des élèves en mathématiques ou aide aux devoirs et de les faire bénéficier de mes méthodes d’organisation, tips et autres, afin de progrésser! Je suis une ancienne élève de Saint Louis de Gonzague, ayant obtenu les Félicitations du Jury au Baccalauréat Général avec les spécialités Mathématiques, Mathématiques Expertes et SES.

J'enseigne les langues à tous les âges depuis 30 ans. J'ai pris une retraite anticipée en juillet 2022 et depuis, je donne des cours particuliers, avec un taux de réussite très élevé.
J'ai enseigné dans la même école secondaire au cours des 21 dernières années et mes cours ont donné de bons résultats en français et en allemand aux niveaux GCSE et A.
J'ai également beaucoup enseigné l'anglais comme langue étrangère à des invités de notre maison.

I am a second year Physics Undergraduate reading at Oxford University and am able to tutor maths and physics at varying levels. I have lots of experience tutoring and am passionate about helping students to really understand the topics of maths and physics.

This class is aimed at secondary school students, particularly those who have important GCSE or A Level exams coming up next year and feel they have missed out on critical lessons due to COVID 19

Can learning English be fun, insightful, productive and effective at the same time? I believe so!

Whatever your background or profession, deciding to learn a foreign language is a great way to add another dimension to your life and make your mind work in a new way. You become a (slightly) different person, since along with a new language, one learns to look at the world in a slightly different way. This is why my approach to teaching English is not only aimed at laying or strengthening the foundational knowledge - grammar, speaking, writing and listening skills, but also at introducing students to the culture of the English-speaking population. We will find out what English speakers find funny, what drives them to tears, what makes them feel proud and what they get embarrassed about.

Open to students of all levels, my course usually is taught online, using a variety of visual aids and a wide range of material, from textbooks to YouTube videos. In teaching advanced learners, I often refer to pieces of literature such as novels and poems, since they easily spark discussions, which in turn improves the students' grasp and feel of the language. In doing so, I take students beyond ordinary textbooks and grammar books, since they are no more than guides to learning, not absolute authorities, and because to me language is a living, constantly evolving matter, which you must submerge yourself into in order to understand.

In addition to my unorthodox approach, what sets me apart is a collection of unique, language-related experiences, which translate into a good ability to understand nuances of the English language. A native Russian speaker, I have lived in the UK for over 5 years, went to a Scottish boarding school and have even completed a university degree in English. Ich bin Philipp, und bin Student am University College London. Ich komme ursprünglich aus Berlin, spreche aber fließend Deutsch und Englisch. Zuvor habe ich schon an meiner Schule jüngeren Schülern Nachhilfe gegeben, freue mich jetzt aber auch in London in einer neuen Umgebung Schülern deutsch- sowie englischsprachige Hilfe anzubieten. Privat spiele ich gerne Tennis, nehme an Debatten an der Uni Teil, und beschäftige mich mit politischen Themen. Meistens kann ich Nachmittags ab 16:00 Uhr, bin aber auch am Wochenende verfügbar. Ich gebe Nachhilfe und Unterricht in Mathematik und Deutsch, für Anfänger bis Muttersprachler. Ich habe mein Abitur mit 1,0 in Hessen bestanden und mein Studium in Rechtswissenschaften mit Bestnote bestanden. Ich gebe seit über fünf Jahren Nachhilfe, vor allem in Deutsch und Mathe.

I provide booster classes in Arithmetic and reasoning for KS1 and KS2 to revise for SATs in Year 6 but also the years prior to this.

Additionally, I provide Reading booster classes for KS1 and KS2 with a focus on comprehension skills including inference and predictions.

Classes are in groups according to year group and are charged suggested per child.
