I offer piano lessons at your home for intermediate and advanced levels in English. The music theory and harmony lessons are integrated into the course, if necessary, for better music understanding and therefore ability to express oneself.
I have been teaching from young students to adults in various levels, from beginners to young professionals for 15 years. My teaching is based on my own experiences as a student, fellow teacher of musicians of the highest level and performer.
Lessons are adapted to student's wishes and needs.

I'm Latvian pianist currently based in Lille with rich performing experience as soloist, accompanist and chamber musician on worldwide stages and a prize winner of numerous international competitions.

Opleiding

I earned my Bachelor and Master degree in Piano Performance from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of music (Riga, Latvia) and enriched my experience in a traineeship of piano accompaniment in Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Leservaring

I have been teaching for the past 15 years in various levels, from beginners (children and adults) till young professionals. They have successfully participated in concerts, festivals and competitions.

Ik ben al sinds mijn 6 jaar bezig met muziek (ben nu 28jaar).
Mijn lessen zijn bedoeld voor beginners zowel jong als oud, en ook mensen die al wat verder staan. Zelf ben ik zeer gemotiveerd om les te geven. Het is mijn bedoeling om mijn studenten zowel makkelijke als wat moelijkere stukken te geven , het is namelijk de bedoeling dat de studenten vooruit gaan.
Ook al ben ik voor het grootse deel klassiek geschoold, toch sta ik zeker open voor: musicals, fillmmuziek en liederen van bv. adele.

The experience that performing entails on the one hand and the pedagogical baggage on the other, give me the opportunity to give singing and piano lessons in a homely yet professional atmosphere tailored to each student, with his own musical background; this in addition to giving singing lessons at the Poperinge academy. As a graduated music pedagogue, I adapt my lessons to the student's needs and interests. My goal is to give an as complete as possible preparation in the technical and artistic fields while keeping the lesson a positive, creative and constructive experience for all students, from the youngest children who didn't learn to read yet to more mature people looking for new challenges.

I am specialised in teaching piano for beginner, integrating my lessons with tidbits of music theory in order to give the students wider knowledge and awareness.

Group lessons for two or three students are also an option.
