I am an American living in Switzerland. English is my first language, as well as having been one of my primary studies during my time in college. I excel in English at all levels; however, my primary focus is to help people through the beginner and intermediate stages. As someone who learned English as their first language, I find the textbook way of teaching English to be a little rigid; my goal is to help you learn English in the most natural way possible.

I was on track to receive my degree in psychology from Florida Gateway College, however I decided to move to Switzerland before I completed it. While that may be a bit of an inconvenience for my credentials, I do still have my full transcript showing my 4.0 GPA as well as both of my placements on the President's List.

I am also a Highschool Graduate from the United States, and a B1 graduate from Social Input in Aarau for German.

I have assisted in teaching my fellow students, as well as off-campus tutoring, for a wide variety of topics. Primarily being English, APA Style for advanced psychology courses, and writing formats for philosophy.

Not only have I given Spanish Grammar and conversation lessons, but focused on Anthropology, Cultural expressions and Literature. Besides teaching, I have translated material for lessons, Spanish-English English-Spanish, and interpreted Spanish-English and English-Spanish during health campaigns and social projects in rural communities with San Blas Spanish School. In Peru, I worked for the University of Sheffield, from England, supporting a researcher in translating interviews English-Spanish and Spanish-English and interpreting when interviewing local people. I have an A2 level in German from the Peruvian-German Cultural Association ACUPARI, licensed by the Goethe-Institut.

The classes provide a balance of practice in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and also cover grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Lessons concentrate mostly on listening, speaking and pronunciation work in a variety of everyday contexts. A range of different resources and material is used during lessons.
