Hi Everyone, I'm working as a researcher in nuclear fusion at EPFL, after a PhD at EPFL, a masters at ETH in Zurich and a bachelors in Freiburg, I got quite proficient in maths and physics. I have quite some experience in teaching, and gave lessons to all ages from highschool to university level.

Doctor in neuroscience, I have more than 10 years of experience in the field of biology. I have worked in academic research, industry and teaching. I am currently in professional retraining to become a teacher. I would be delighted to put my skills at your service for private lessons.

Hello, and I am a student at EPFL. I offer my services mainly for math lessons, but I can also help in French, physics and SVT. Indeed, I am a former student of a French high school. Due to my excellent academic results, I had the opportunity to help many groups of students. I had my baccalaureate with an average of 18.18, the result of my work and my regular involvement. In addition, both of my parents are math teachers, so I always used to help them with their private lessons. Finally, my schedule is very flexible, so I can organize myself to be available any day at any time.

The goal is to understand a complex subject using easy calculations and to be ready for exams. I do not intend to do a frontal teaching as we know it in school. It is important that we work together on a problem and that we can solve several problems of the same kind. If you wish, we can speak in English or German (my native language) during class. This can allow you to very easily become familiar with a foreign language. The relaxed atmosphere in a non-school setting can accelerate the learning of a new language, as no one (except me - and I'll forget about it right now) will notice mistakes.

As a student at EPFL, I teach mathematics classes for students until the end of the gymnasium. I like to teach and have no difficulty in making myself understood because I know the position of the student in front of a new or misunderstood concept. I am used to teaching classes and know how to make learning and even to make the subject enjoy the subject.

I am currently a student at the University of Lausanne, Faculty of Social Sciences. After 4 years of working with children, I can say that I am calm and patient but persevering. I pledge to accompany your child (ren) according to your requests and, as far as possible, set up exercises to test the understanding of my students. I am flexible at the subject level to work. In the case where the student has to revise a subject outside my field of knowledge (like German or physics), I can work on my side a week in advance to be able to accompany him correctly.
