My name is David and I recently live in Ghent.
I started playing the cello when I was barely 3 and have since received a range of teachers and techniques that I would like to share with you! For example, I have been a regular student at various concervatories since I was 13, such as the KCB and CRB in Brussels, KCA antwerpen, CvA Amsterdam, ... With teachers such as Didier, Marie Hallynck, Walter Grimmer, Edmont Baert, Justus Grimm, Lâzlo Fenyö, Claudio Bohorquez, Jeroen Reuling, Olsi Leka, Jerôme Pernoo, Dimitri Ferschtmann, Vladimir Perlin, ... in both French, Russian, German and Belgian cello schools.
I am also a winner and laureate of many national and international competitions from Belgium to Bulgaria and have a rich experience in chamber music and solo recitals with organizations such as the Flanders Festival, the Musique de Chambre de Wallonie, the Arte Amanti festival, etc. with national and international artists and colleagues. and as a soloist with orchestra. With a guided meditation we go through the different steps of the meditation process together. With music and stories I help you visualize your emotions and/or thoughts. During this session I combine different techniques such as mindfulness or Theta Healing or healing with the arts.
Theta Healing is a world renowned healing method that was created by Vianna Stibal during her own personal journey. This is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy - not specific to one religion but accepting them all. It is a training method for your mind, body and spirit that allows you to clear limiting beliefs and live life with positive thoughts, developing virtues in all that we do.
Expressing yourself through art can help reduce depression, anxiety and sickness. I work with different art techniques, such as creative writing, drawing, painting or music. No foreknowledge or artistic skills are required to attend my art meditation sessions. Everyone can participate.
