Dear all,

I live near Geneva, Switzerland, and I offer Chinese and mathematics lessons. Since 2016, I have given private lessons to students and adults. I have over 4 years of experience teaching mathematics to international students, from primary school to high school, in English. I also taught the Chinese language to adults as well as children at The Language Center school in Ferney-Voltaire.

I create my lessons based on the needs and interests of each student. If necessary, I will provide homework exercises as well as additional lesson notes.

I have been giving chinese lessons for more than 10 years. Before that, I was a radio broadcaster and a journalist in China, hence I have a perfect pronunciation of the official mandarin, without any accent. It provides my students the best conditions to learn chinese, as the tone you give to words when you speak chinese as a foreigner is of great importance if you want to be understood by natives.

I have a strong working experience helping students preparing their HSK exam, I also often teach diplomats, to help them acquire the necessary skills and understand properly the vocabulary specific to their job.

I also love to work with kids, as I was a mandarin teacher for 2 years in an international school in Singapore. I give them a playful learning environment and use fun learning methods, so even the youngest can stay focused!

I was born in China with love and encouragement from my family and teachers. From an early age, my mom, dad, and brother told me many funny and famous stories and fairy tales about Chinese Culture. I am studying at the Geneva Graduate Institute which is a famous university focusing on political research and analysis. Before studying in Geneva, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in Shandong Normal University(China).

7-year working experience with teaching.
Especially, after graduating from the university, I became a 2-year volunteer teacher in a remote village in China.

- Learning with fun. I know it is not easy to study another language. But there are several ways to help you (your children) love to study Chinese, such as Picture Book Teaching, Chinese songs, or intriguing multimedia tools (movies and videos).
-Specific teaching method for yourself. My past five-year working experience is to teach teachers how to improve their learning skills. One of the most important methods is to adjust and design the teaching method according to the ability and interest of each student.
