Learning English takes practice in a conversational setting, and I focus on learning the language through real-life usage and context. I use materials and activities that are relevant to the student's language needs. Grammar and pronunciation are learnt through the conversational use of English.

من أنا؟
I am from South Africa and have done a lot of travelling over the years. I lived in Thailand and Cambodia for 2 years teaching children, then came to South America, starting in Colombia where I did some volunteering. I was in Peru for a while, also teaching English and I am now settled in Santiago!
My favorite thing about teaching ESL is when a student truly grasps a language concept and I see the joy on their face when they understand. I love helping people explore English and use it in their real-life contexts, building confidence as they grow their vocabulary and improve their understanding in conversations.
