Acerca de mí

I studied English Literature and Film Studies at the University of Leeds. Coming out of Uni, I found myself increasingly drawn to teaching because I love the idea of helping and inspiring someone to pursue whatever it is they are working towards. Due to this, I decided to do an in-person TEFL qualification and taught in Thailand for 6 months. As a person, I am positive and calm and like to use these attributes to create an exciting and comfortable learning environment for students.

I have an A in English Literature and Classical Civilisation at A Level. I went to the University of Leeds where I studied English Literature and graduated with a 2:1.

I have previously worked as an English teacher in Thailand after gaining my TEFL qualification. I have also tutored at GCSE standard for English Literature and Language and worked at a YMCA camp, teaching people of all ages.

I am an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) lecturer in the UK. I am a native speaker from Ireland with over 8 years of experience. I hold a CELTA Pass B. I also speak fluent French. All lessons follow Cambridge-approved methodology. I use the Cambridge Empower Ebook series. There is an option to purchase the Ebook.
