A young and enthusiastic tutor who has more than 15 years of experience in musical performance, who is constantly developing her skills and learning new instruments (currently, violin and guitar :). I come from Ukraine and have a diploma from a completed 8-year piano, music theory and choir degree from Russian and Ukrainian musical academies. I am very proud of the educational background I have since my teachers had always been very strict yet fair with their ways of teaching, which gave me a strong base as a musician, and, later on, as a tutor. Moreover, I have studied psychology here in Spain for 3 years at a university, so I get on well with many different personalities and know how to approach stressful situations. I must mention that I am passionate about spending my time with kids and sharing the skills and experience I have with people. I speak Spanish, but offer classes in English, so my students can also practice their English while in the class. Of course, if the student prefers to keep it in Spanish, it is not a problem for me. I am happy to help beginners with meeting piano for the first time, as well as tutoring students with some experience to help them with practising at home, pointing out the most crucial areas of improvement in order to reach the best result possible. Regarding the working hours, they need to be confirmed before booking the lesson, since I may/may not be available sometimes. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any doubts or questions! My training includes a Professional Degree in Piano, studies in singing and modern composition, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music Management and Production at ESMUC (Catalan School of Music). I teach classical piano classes for all ages and all levels. I teach classes in Spanish, English or Chinese. In classes for beginners we learn to read sheet music, basic hand position, basic theory of staves.

In this course, I will teach you the first steps to start playing classical piano. We will begin to do some hand placement exercises, scales, arpeggios and different exercises and then begin to play simple works, which will become more complicated over time. The duration of the classes in principle is 1 hour. If you would like less or more time, we can manage it. In principle the classes are taught in my studio, but everything could be discussed. Depending on the area I could move.

I have been giving private lessons for 10 years. In addition, I have extensive experience working with groups of many ages, from children to adults, so I would love to help you learn an instrument or get started in the fascinating world of music, whatever your age. I don't care about your level, my goal is to enjoy learning music. Transverse Flute Classes. You will learn the technique to start the instrument and be able to play songs of genres such as jazz, Bossanova, Cuban music and / or classical music. We will always work on a technical part (Scales and arpeggios) and repertoire (classical and / or popular). Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.
