Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. Note : - Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase. - As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy. - Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. The private “composition classes/music writing & music theory lessons” are held for students of all levels and ages including beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. There are also lessons available that are suited for: Students who are preparing for an entrance exam to the conservatories. Music students who are in higher education systems (Bachelor or Master). Location: Music classes are held at the student's home in Brussels or online via webcam. Prices of music lessons in Brussels or online (TVA and social security contributions are included). Languages: The class is taught in English, Dutch and Persian. Course timetable: Daily time slots are flexible according to the student’s needs. With Flexible schedules in Brussels or online. Age limit & musical knowledge: Minimum age of 5 years old is required to attend the classes. For private classes such as solfeggios and piano lessons, no prior knowledge of music is required. Payment method & frequency of the lessons: Based on a period of 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months, students will be asked to fulfill the payment prior to the beginning of the lessons. I teach Classical Piano, Jazz, Pop, Variety, Rock, Solfege and Harmony, for beginners or for more advanced levels and for all ages (children, teenagers, adults). I also work with the singers who need to learn the chords and general bases of Harmony applied to the Piano.

Concertist and teacher, Johanna studied piano solo at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin Hanns Eisler and now continues them as a Master at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. A committed pedagogue, Johanna favors the expansion of the repertoires mastered by her students, and associates improvisation, harmony and knowledge of the context (historical and musical) to these courses. She has taught at the Franco-German Music School in Berlin and at the Conservatoire in Rouen and now holds a class at the Ecole de Piano de Rouen. Johanna pursues a career as a concert artist, she plays regularly in chamber music with her trio Hémisphères and as a soloist in various repertoires in France and Germany _Paris, Berlin, Rouen, Baden-Baden, Aix-en-Provence ... She plays in the Musique Dans la rue, Piano Demain, Jeune Talents, Piano Tremplin festivals, and received a special prize. Graduated from the Hanns Eisler School in Berlin. She was a pupil of Stephen Arnold and Konrad Maria Engel. She is also a student of Frédéric Aguessy, and has benefited from lessons given by Jean-Claude Pennetier, Ralph Gothoni, Cécile Hugonnard-Roche, Anne Queffelec, Philippe Entremont, Yovan Markovitch, Isabel Charisius and Hervé Nkaoua. In addition, she followed a course in conducting, analysis, harpsichord and accompaniment. She is currently pursuing a Master's in choir conducting in partnership with the Sorbonne and a Master's in solo piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She studied the physiological posture of the musician in Berlin accompanied by a solid practical training in the areas of kinesis management, relaxation, and breathing (Pilates, Alexander Techniques, Feldenkreis, School of Breathing, School of the back). She can give lessons in French, English, German.

I am Thijs (28), an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatorium in Ghent. I also took master classes and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons. In the end, it's you who will enjoy it the most, so that's what I'm focusing on! Hello everyone I'm Giorgos and i teach classical guitar! I the past, the guitar was a very royal instrument and is still considered one of the most widely used instruments to accompany with. The repertoire and possibilities are huge, and i like to structure my lessons based on what you like to listen to and to play. I've been teaching for a long time and i'm very comfortable with it, and i enjoy seeing people get passionate about the instrument. It's a great hobby and a great calling to follow! Depending on your knowledge level, you will learn how to play chords, basic pieces, technique exercises and etudes to forward your technique, right hand technique and rasgueados (special spanish flamenco "fan" strumming), and also you'll learn how to correctly read a score, we'll talk about scales and music theory, so as to not only learn to play the pieces, but also hear music in a different way with deeper understanding. If you've been eager to get better in jazz music and therefore studying all its different styles and drummers, I can help you for sure! Particularly, I've studied in deep Tony Williams' and Elvin Jones' playing, so if you really want to improve that kind of vision and sound I can give you some great hints such as transcriptions, analysis, sound strategies and many video materials. Also, I am specialized in Funk/Hip-Hop music and that kind of groovy world. So, I've been mastering a specific approach to this genre as well. About me: I've been playing drums since I was 6. I got my Master Degree in 2022 at Salerno Music Conservatory (Italy) in Jazz Drums and Percussion. I've been doing the role of Assistant Professor at KCB with Stéphane Galland throughout the 2023.

Lessons in piano, historical and modern cello, and harpsichord, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history. In my teaching, I try to teach the students how to teach themselves, because the best teacher for you is yourself. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege and history of music, if the student wishes. For my private students, I organize concerts 1-2 per year. Fluent in English and Russian and Bulgarian, intermediate in Nederlands und Deutsch. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, and probably more than 100 students. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello and piano.
