Ik zal je helpen je vaardigheden te verbeteren en te verbreden, in de stijl van jouw voorkeur, maar ook gehoortraining en theorie. We bouwen samen aan een duurzame oefenroutine en je krijgt toegang tot een bibliotheek met oefenplay-alongs en handleidingen, waarmee je als muzikant een stevig platform kunt opbouwen!

Hi! My name is Teis. I am a Danish guitarist trained in Jazz music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and USC Thornton School of Music (Los Angeles). I have played guitar and piano since age 7, studied guitar since age 13 and played professionally since age 17.

I was called a "rising star" (NRC) and "The Bad Boy of Dutch Jazz" (Trouw), and work professionally as a band leader, composer and side person (check my spotify if you are curious). I have released 5 albums as a leader and 10 more as a side person.

After around 25 years of experience on the guitar and in the music world, I can confidently say that I know my way around the instrument.
But in all honesty: I have actually never found myself to be "talented". I am a hard worker - I truly believe that talent is not something you are born with, but something you can develop and grow.
If talent is a flower, then fun and care is sunshine. Talent can only grow with and safe and fun attitude toward the instrument. Cute metaphor, huh? :)

Together we will explore secrets and tips for an healthy guitar routine. We will improve your technique and ear training abilities with direct and fun exercises.

Wether you are just beginning or an intermediate/advanced guitarist, we will explore the instrument and all its possibilities.

Practicing and playing with a teacher in a one on one situation is the most effective way to get better faster, and I advise it to all the guitar and music lovers out there.

Ik heb piano, muziek en beweging voor kinderen, muziektheorie, solfège en koor gegeven.

Ik heb mijn bacheloropleiding met de hoogste cijfers afgerond, heb ervaring als concertartiest en heb prijzen gewonnen bij wedstrijden en verschillende studiebeurzen.

De lessen zijn afgestemd op het profiel van elke leerling, ongeacht leeftijd, verwachtingsniveau (het maakt niet uit of het gezien wordt als hobby of dat de leerling zich voorbereidt op officiële audities voor het conservatorium, etc.).

We zullen spelen en/of ons richten op waar de student zich in wil verdiepen (welke muziekstijl ze ook interesseren, meer theoretische aspecten of juist praktische aspecten). We proberen zo veel mogelijk te profiteren van de gewerkte tijd en geven prioriteit aan het daadwerkelijke leerproces van de persoon als belangrijkste factor voor hun motivatie.

In juni 2022 heb ik mijn masteropleiding Jazzmuziek aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen afgerond.
Eerder, in 2018, behaalde ik mijn bachelordiploma muziek aan het Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spanje).

In de les werken we aan zangtechnieken, het schrijven van composities, akkoordenschema's en -structuren, en het componeren van liedjes. Je kunt je eigen nummers meenemen om aan te werken, of we kunnen covers oefenen. Ik heb een masterdiploma behaald aan het Berklee Conservatorium of Music in Contemporary Performance met een specialisatie in productie, dus ik kan je ook helpen met het opnemen van je muziek.

Cursus I: Zanglessen

De zanglessen zijn ontworpen op basis van de behoeften van de student, wat betekent dat we tijdens de lessen zullen werken aan wat er verbeterd kan worden om u het meeste uit uw zangstem te laten halen!

Tijdens de lessen leren we oefeningen om de stem op te warmen en af te koelen (dus een pre- en een post-workout); we werken aan vocale techniek, doen specifieke oefeningen op basis van specifieke behoeften; we werken aan het repertoire en kiezen geschikte liedjes volgens uw smaak en wat het beste bij uw stem past. Maar bovenal gaan we PLEZIER hebben tijdens het leren en verbeteren!

Voor de eerste les is het ideaal om één liedje mee te nemen dat je goed kent en dat je graag zingt en het liefst al zong. Heb je nog geen liedje? geen enkel probleem, we beginnen met leuke oefeningen en we kunnen samen een liedje kiezen om aan te werken!

Cursus II: Gitaarles

Heb je ooit je gitaarvaardigheden willen verbeteren met als doel je stem te begeleiden tijdens het zingen? Tijdens deze lessen kunnen we samen op zoek gaan naar de beste manier om jezelf te begeleiden, met de gitaar als ondersteuning voor je prachtige stem!

Je leert mooie intonaties, linker- en rechterhandtechniek en hoe je kunt grooven met mooie ritmische patronen.

My name is Enrique and I come from Andalucía, Spain. I am a Classical Piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I would be pleased to be your teacher. It will be great to teach you how to play your favourite music on the piano, but also about its language, reading and writing, that is, the music theory, or even how to start improvising your own music.

Hey, I'm Iván, an argentinian musician that recently moved to Amsterdam. I've been a guitarist for more than 10 years and even though it is not the only thing i do with music, i've always enjoyed teaching. As a teacher i usually base my method on playing actual music oriented on the student's personal taste, with the possibility of developing in a more academic way later on if required.
I studied classical guitar in Argentina and Spain, i've taught since i was a child and i have 3 trinity college degrees on classical guitar, rock and pop guitar and music theory.
