Have you been interested in learning to make delicious and filling meals without animal products, but not sure where to start?
Well, I am here to help!
I trained as a professional chef in Los Angeles and ran kitchens for 12 years, both on the west coast of the states and in Amsterdam. Throughout my career I was invested in making vegetarian and vegan cooking a staple of every restaurant I worked in, and showing people how nutritious and delicious this ethical diet can be.
I have also spent years working with farmers and market gardeners as well as in supermarkets focussing on understanding where food comes from.
Additionally, as a flexitarian for almost 20 years ( I eat animal products a few times a year) I am well-versed in how to build a healthy diet and save money and time!
I'd love to work with you to feel confident about using new products and expanding your understanding of nutrition and cooking techniques from the vegan and vegetarian kitchen.
I can also give group lessons and family classes

Über mich
Hey there! I am Liz and I'm from the U.S., but I've been living and working in the Netherlands for 15 years.
As an executive chef and later a campaign manager I've had years of practice in training folks for all sorts of things, a task which I very much enjoy! For me sharing knowledge about food is super exciting, and I love engaging with people who are curious, who ask questions and share their stories with me as well. I believe communication, so asking questions, sharing personal anecdotes, etc., is so important for learning. The more links we can make in our own minds the better we retain information, and the more fun it can be to learn together!

I have an associates degree in culinary arts. So I studied full time not only practical techniques but also nutrition, the history of food, and maths relating to running a kitchen inside an appropriate budget
