Hi everyone! I'm Alba, I'm 28 years old and I am Italian, from Sicily. I am currently living in Amsterdam where I'm working as an architect. I'm very friendly and I love help people to increase their language skills. I think that chatting is the most effective way to improve a language, so I decided to give conversation lessons. If you are a beginners, don' t worry, I can also give you solid grammar bases and adapt the lesson to your needs. If you want to learn, to be fluent and to have fun, contact me!

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests, and availability of the student. I can offer students private accommodation in Pisa, a comfortable private apartment in the historic center of the city, a short walk from my home.

- The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also, the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
