An internationally regarded piano lesson for all levels age 10 to adult. An emphasis on hands-on learning to helping students of all ages learn to play and enjoy the piano.

-Music Wonderland Lesson:
Ages of students: 3 year olds
Course length: 30 Minutes
Lesson schedule: One class per week
Parent participation: Required

Listening Ability:
As this is a most significant period of aural development, a rich and varied array of listening activities develops sensitivity and listening ability and enables students to perceive music's power to vividly express images and emotions.

Social Development:
Because of the importance of the parent in the life of a child this age, interaction between parent and child is an important focus in the lessons. Also, through the lessons children develop the basic skills of relating to others

Keyboard Experience:
Children experience sound through the keyboard and are introduced to the fun of keyboard playing. Appropriate to this stage in their physical development, initial playing activities engage the use of large motor skills.

Cultivation of the Imagination:
Recognizing the significance of fantasy, play, and the imagination in the learning of children of this age, the activities, textbooks, and music are filled with suitable colorful, playful imagery, sounds, and subjects.

-Junior Music Lesson

Parent participation: Required (participation enables parent to be an effective "at home" learning partner)

Hearing: Listening to wonderful music helps children:

I am a professional educated music teacher with more than 17 years of experience teaching in Switzerland, UK and China. I graduated from London Trinity College of Music and China Central Conservatory of Music. My lessons can be adapt to your needs. I enjoy teaching students of different age groups with all levels. As I have 3 little boys myself, I especially have experiences to teach small children in a playful effective way.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.

Hello, welcome to my profile! My name is Richard, nice to meet you! I'm a Dutch (Netherlands) piano teacher and concert pianist with 25 years of experience.

As a piano teacher, I have extensive experience with students of all ages and levels, as well as different music styles.
I hold a Master's degree in Music in both piano performance and as a piano teacher. For the past 25 years, I have been teaching piano lessons (both individual and group lessons) at several music schools in the Netherlands, as well as private piano lessons in various European countries and the USA.

I'm available for in-person piano lessons at your home or at my studio, but I can also teach online (via Zoom), if you prefer so. I speak fluent English, Spanish, German, Dutch, and basic Italian, so I can teach in all of these languages.

As a concert pianist, I have made numerous concert tours as a soloist and played with renown orchestras in several countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, UK, and United Arab Emirates.
Furthermore, I won prizes in several prestigious piano competitions, made various TV-, radio and album recordings, and attended masterclasses with world-renown pianists such as the master pianists Murray Perahia, Jacques Rouvier, Emanual Ax and Igor Roma.

My piano lessons are for students of all ages and levels, who would like to learn or improve their piano playing. Although my background is in classical repertoire, I also have experience in teaching popular and film music, among other types of music. I love all kinds of music, and I'm definitely open to teaching you how to play your favorite songs.

My lessons include learning and improving piano technique, reading sheet music (if not already mastered), playing by ear, music theory, musicality development, and fostering enjoyment in playing this beautiful instrument.
