I like to challenge myself by building an extensive vocabulary that I hope to pass on to others to impress all the English speaking people that they meet. I was brought up in Cambridge, which is the area considered to have the most grammatically correct speaking natives. I have also achieved a teaching qualification, a Level 3 in Education & Training. In this course I lean't a lot of vital skills and tools that I will use to educate you. I like to make learning interesting, where ever possible as I believe it not only makes it more enjoyable so you're more likely to keep focused. It also means you are more likely to remember what you have learn't if based around an amusing example. Whether you need help with homework or would like to master the language, I can help you get it right. I will personalise every class to best suit each students personal preference. Trusted teacher: The current context requires us to have as little contact as possible... But the good news is that webcam lessons remain possible :) I come from Costa Rica and have lived in Belgium with my family for 10 years. Spanish is my mother tongue. I have a solid professional experience in the private, public and associative sector. I juggle with different methodologies depending on the context of the course and especially the objectives to be achieved. I taught at the university, at Ifapme, in the associative sector (training and remediation), within companies as well as to individuals with very different objectives such as studies, a move to Spain, a travel to Latin America or simply learning a new language for fun or sharing and improving knowledge in the context of group conversation tables for example... I have played since age 7, studied since age 13, and played professionally since age 18. I work professionally as a band leader, composer, and side person. After around 25 years of experience on the guitar, I can confidently say that I am equipped to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. In all honesty: I have never found myself to be particularly "talented". But I am a hard worker. I truly believe that talent is not something you are born with, but something you can develop and grow. Together we will explore secrets and tips for a healthy guitar routine. We will improve your technique and ear training abilities with direct and fun exercises. Yana is very sweet and is always willing to listen to your doubts and difficulties. I have only taken 2 classes so far. The learning process is slow if you really want to improve your technique. If you are looking to learn everything in one class, this is not the place. The only downside is the pricing on Apprentus fees, which seems a bit steep to me and teachers only get a cut.
