I'm friends with the violin for more than 17 years and as an academically educated musician, I believe I can help you befriend it too! My main goal is for the student to develop interest and love for the violin, and the music itself. That way you will want to learn more and the instrument will become your friend, then - the skill will come inevitably. We are not learning music to stress about it but to enjoy it! I believe in an individual approach to every person, and I respect different temperaments and learning pace. I consider technique important, but what I find even more important is listening and finding the right technique through the sound and not the other way around :) I am patient and understanding, and I will do my best to make your learning take place in a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere without judging and harsh criticism.
