Having studied and worked in multiple educational environments, I have found that the combination of formal and non-formal education methods is the best teaching tool for international students of diverse educational backgrounds.
In my lessons, I present the theory of Business Management through lecturing, giving examples, short videos, mini exercises, and assessments (past papers), as well as through ice-breaking and team bonding games, role-playing games, debate, and mini projects.
This aims to provide students not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with practical expertise, and at the same time to allow them to develop a plethora of soft skills that are useful for their educational and further professional background.
Concerning my teaching experience, I have worked as:
• an IB Category 2 Business Management Teacher at 2 private schools in Athens (3 Years)
• an A-Levels (AS/IA2) Business Teacher at a private school in Athens (4 years)
• a Business Teacher at a Summer Camp in the UK (2 Years)
• a Business College Lecturer (1 Year)
• a Foundation Teacher (2 Years)
• a Guest Lecturer on the subject of Management, Leadership, Soft Skills, and Types of Intelligence at 2 Universities in Greece (3 Years)
• a Soft skills trainer and project manager at a Fellowship Program (6 Years),
• an External partner -soft skills trainer at other companies (1 Year),
• a Soft skills trainer and project manager at the Atlantis Pre-med Fellowship Program (6 Years),
• an External partner -soft skills trainer at other companies (1 Year),
• a Private tutor for GCSE, A-Level, IB pupils and university-college students (7 Years).
Methodology

In my lessons, I present the theory of GCSE subjects (Business Studies and Social Studies), as well as A-Level and IB subjects (Business & Entrepreneurship, Essay Writing, Presentations & Interviews) not only through lecturing, giving examples, mini exercises, assessments, but also through ice breaking and team bonding games, role-playing games, debate, and mini projects. This aims to provide students not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with practical expertise, and at the same time to allow them to develop a plethora of soft skills that are useful for their educational and further professional background.
