• Jazz guitar student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels • 3 years of study at the "Jazz/Pop Studio" in Antwerp • 16 years of practice • Animator certified by the French Community These are the points that I address during a one-hour lesson, following a learning method that I have specially designed for children: fun, creative and rewarding! • A repertoire of songs and melodies with increasing difficulties so that the student progresses methodically. • A first approach to music theory and music theory in a coloring workshop for the little ones, in a musical context for the older ones. • Technical exercises, always in a musical context, in order to allow the student to overcome the technical difficulties of the guitar and to guide him towards total musical independence. • A “listening and discovery” part where I try to introduce the student to aspects of music that they are unaware of (improvisation, sound of instruments, different musical styles, the role of each instrument in a group/orchestra, etc.). ..) As said before, my goal is to guide the student towards musical independence so that he can progress on his own in the long term. Learning the guitar also means developing self-confidence, creativity, perseverance and methodology.
