I am offering private harp teaching to individual students. I offer tuition in classical harp alongside traditional Scottish and Irish music. I grew up in the Highlands, where I began playing the Clarsach learning by ear. I studied classical harp from the age of twelve at Aberdeen City Music School, the Music School of Douglas Academy and Chetham's School of Music (my teachers included Alina Bzhezhinska Lazorkina, Murdo Macrae and Marie Leenhardt). After finishing secondary school i attended the Norwegian Academy of music and studied under the tutelage of Isabelle Perrin. I have experience freelancing with various British and Scandinavian Orchestras and ensembles, and have spent a lot of time working with jazz and contemporary music projects. I have been teaching privately and through arts organisations in the Highlands of Scotland for the last few years, and have developed a great passion for sharing knowledge and my love of the harp.
