En tant que professeur franco-belge, je propose des cours particuliers de mathématiques (y compris financières), de probabilités et de statistiques.

Je me déplace, si nécessaire, à domicile dans la région de Bruxelles ainsi que dans le Brabant wallon et flamand, avec une durée minimale de cours de 2 heures. Fort d'une grande expérience, je propose de nombreux exercices pour consolider les connaissances. En ce qui concerne les mathématiques, je donne des cours très fréquemment, couvrant l'ensemble du programme du secondaire jusqu'en mathématiques 6 (niveau supérieur). Les sujets abordés comprennent la factorisation, les équations du premier et du deuxième degré (avec l'étude des paraboles), les limites, les dérivées, les intégrales, les exponentielles et les logarithmes, ainsi que la trigonométrie. I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

The classes could be rigorous or lenient depending on the student. There will be periodic homework and I'll make sure that the student achieves her/his desired goals.

Math, calculus and physics can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when the theory or solving method is unclear. I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. With my calm and stepwise explanation, a second view of the solution procedure is given, which is often what is missing. I tutor a variety of math and physics courses on both secondary and high school levels, but also at a scientific bachelor level. These can either be theory/exercise-based, but also exam preparation.

Na jaren als groepsleerkracht (groep 1 t/m 8) te hebben gewerkt geef ik nu online begeleiding en bijles aan leerlingen die net dat beetje extra hulp nodig hebben. Met mijn ervaring en vakkennis bied ik persoonlijke ondersteuning bij verschillende vakken en help ik kinderen goed voorbereid naar de middelbare school.

Persoonlijk
Elke les is 100% afgestemd op het niveau, de (leer)behoefte en de leerstijl van de leerling: spelenderwijs, met meer herhaling of juist veel afwisseling. Jij als ouder blijft altijd betrokken: na elke les ontvang je een korte terugkoppeling en we bespreken regelmatig de voortgang.

Visueel
Veel kinderen begrijpen en onthouden beter als ze het kunnen zien. Vaak helpt een schema, een tekening of een afbeelding heel erg om iets te begrijpen. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald. Ik maak een plan van aanpak met daarin gerichte oefeningen, strategieën en ondersteuning, afgestemd op de behoeften van je kind. Mathematics is the queen of sciences, the creative art of abstract logical reasoning par excellence, with ubiquitous applications. Nevertheless, many people struggle with mathematics and find that it is frustratingly taught in schools.

I hold a Master of Mathematics (from the KU Leuven, having previously completed my Bachelor at The University of Warwick), with years of tutoring experience, and am further keen to teach mathematics to anyone at any level -- from primary school, through secondary, up till final-year undergraduate material -- in a motivated, fruitful fashion, in four different possible languages (English, Polish, Dutch, and French).
