He completed his Bachelor's degree while in the Army and transitioned from the military into the classroom, joining Teach for America. His favorite sports teams include the teams from Atlanta (Braves, Falcons, Hawks). He is a "movie buff" that enjoys watching and discussing films. He also enjoys traveling to unique places and hiking.
