About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes: - Contrabass (Jazz and Classical and any other style) - Bass Guitar (Any modern style) - Music Theory - Solfeggio/ Ear training - Jazz Harmony All these classes can be taught seperately. Nevertheless, during our instrumental lesson we will cover a portion of the material of all the modules.

Musician since the age of 14, I have been giving lessons for more than 8 years as a private teacher. I focus on your desires, whether it is to improve your vocabulary (jazz or other modern genres), or to learn the basics of double bass and electric bass. You can come to me with specific things you want to work on, or I can analyze your playing and point out where you can improve. Bass guitar lessons with a holistic, "all-round" character. We will practice the lessons together and we will use your best songs for this. I have over 20 years of experience playing music. I’m a self taught guitar and bass player and have performed on stages both big and small. I’ve recorded on a couple of albums and movie soundtracks and am an established session musician. I will use your own musical interests and goals to teach you everything I know, but from a performance and theory perspective.

The guitar is a wonderful instrument with a vastly documented history of providing a creative outlet for rockstars, bluesmen, jazz cats and purveyors of funk, singers and songwriters the world over. I believe through learning and understanding this ubiquitous instrument, one can unlock a creative flow which truly enriches ones life and ability to interact and communicate with people in a universal, non-verbal, and deeply soulful manner. In this course, I aim to work with you to find your voice and give you techniques to learn the language of music through understanding your musical tastes and using various approaches to try and work out how some of your favourite songs can be played and why they resonate with you in the way they do.

I'm Alfredo, I graduated from the Electric Bass Jazz and Modern Music performance course at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu and later graduated from the Master's in Jazz Performance at Codarts University of the Arts. My methodology is based on adapting the content of the class and the way of teaching it to the needs and learning process of the student. The most efficient way to learn music is through motivation and for this reason I place great emphasis on the idea of working on the music that the student listens to. No matter what genre of music we work on, any type of music can make you improve in all aspects. During the classes I try to cover the following points: - Technique and knowledge of the instrument. - Perception and rhythmic execution. - Theory applied to composition and improvisation. - Development of the melodic and harmonic ear. For students who are just starting out, I emphasize the idea of learning from the experience of playing and understanding the instrument and I let the theoretical part appear naturally once there is already a certain connection with the instrument.

The electric bass is an instrument that, being so young, evolves incessantly. I invite you to get to know, develop and incorporate these special techniques that will give you great skill, fluidity, the possibility of interpreting complete works comparable to a piano interpretation and when playing in a band, it will give the sensation of more instruments than there are in scene.
