I also like playing the piano in my free time.
Currently, I am studying in Finland and speak Finnish a bit.

Hello, I'm Ayako, a Japanese native speaker and experienced teacher.
I’m currently studying at master’s degree in Finland.
I have been teaching English professionally for four years, and my total teaching experience, including my time as an elementary school teacher, spans 20 years.
I have had the privilege of meeting many dedicated students who have worked hard and grown tremendously, which is something I take great pride in.
Many of my students have shared that they enjoy the lessons and are able to continue learning with enthusiasm.

I have also lived in the UK and Germany, which has given me a broad perspective on language learning.
My teaching style is known for being warm and attentive, with a strong focus on conversation and foundational skills.

I am trained in Comparative Literature, German and Slavic Studies (as well as Sociology and Social Anthropology) and worked my way through a variety of languages myself. Teaching has always been a side job and partly a full-time occupation for me.
