Hi, my name is Josefine, I am 22 years old and I am offering tutoring sessions in Maths, English and German. I have specialized in tutoring Maths up to the 8th grade.
Before moving to Den Haag a few weeks ago, I lived in Berlin, Germany. I am currently studying to become an elementary school teacher and have worked as a tutor for a while now, teaching children between the ages 7 and 17. I also did an internship at an elementary school where I worked with children between the ages 5 and 10.
Creating a trusting and fun environment is really important to me so that there is no fear of making mistakes because that makes the process of learning more effective.
I would describe myself as a very patient person and I always try my best to be positive.

I offer English and French classes for multiple levels. French is my mother tongue and I am studying English at university and have a 7.5 IELTS level. I can also give basic Arabic and Spanish classes. Classes can be just conversation classes or written grammar. Contact me if interested!

I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. By staying there I had the opportunity to learn to speak fluently Spanish and to develop a deep interest for South American (especially Chilean) folklore, culture and art.

Tutor in both English and Spanish. As a native English speaker, I am competent to teach any level from Grammar and written English, to causal conversation to improve practical skills. As a near-native Spanish speaker (C1/C2), I am competent to teach any age and ability. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.
