Hi everyone!

My name is Laureline, I'm 25 years old and I hold a master in languages (English and Spanish) from the Université Catholique de Louvain. I'm Belgian and my mothertongue is French. I offer French tuitions at your home/workplace for expats who want to improve and practice their French skills in conversations. I have been a private French tutor for over a year, mostly in London and now in Brussels.

I teach French as a foreign language (experience of tutoring for expats) and I also work with French-speaking students who need help at school or to improve their basics (years of teaching in the secondary education.)

My name is Huyen and I have held a diploma in teaching French (foreign language - FLE) since 2012 from the Higher Institute of Translators and Interpreters (now attached to the Free University of Brussels). Former interpreter at the Lille High Court, I am now a teacher.

I offer French lessons for children. I know that learning a new language can be intimidating at first, and improving is quite a challenge. However, everyone learns in their own way and at their own pace. This is why the course content and teaching method will change from one student to another. Fortunately, French is my native language. I live in Brussels where I have taught many French courses to French speakers and also to non-French speakers in the framework of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), mostly face-to-face and also some distance learning. I want to expand the use of distance learning.
Hence my presence on this site.
My greatest wish is to help you make as much progress as possible in French.
To this end, I use a judicious combination of oral and written exchanges.
I use these conversations to introduce grammatical concepts and expand your vocabulary. All this in a fun and friendly atmosphere!
You will have to express yourself a lot in French, because my level of Dutch is average. In fact, I speak it at a "normal" pace, but with a more limited vocabulary and expressions than yours.

I offer tailored courses, in person or remotely, according to the needs of each student. For academic support, I adapt to the program followed by the child or adolescent, by deepening the concepts already covered, by re-explaining difficult points or by dissecting problematic themes.

For adults, I mainly teach the basics in Dutch, but I can adapt my lessons to different objectives. For example: learning the vocabulary for a new position, preparing for an exam (Selor, language certification), refreshing your knowledge before an interview, or improving your ability to communicate effectively in a professional or personal context.
