I teach guitar with a strong foundation in Irish folk music, focusing on solid technique, rhythm and musicality. Lessons draw on traditional repertoire as well as contemporary songs, helping students develop good timing, tone and confidence on the instrument. Suitable for beginners through to intermediate players, with lessons tailored to individual goals. Beginner focused These guitar lessons are rooted in Irish folk traditions and designed to build strong fundamentals from the ground up. Students learn chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle basics and simple tunes, with an emphasis on playing musically and comfortably. No previous experience required. Folk and song accompaniment Guitar lessons focused on folk style accompaniment, drawing heavily from Irish traditional and contemporary folk music. Students learn chord shapes, rhythm, fingerpicking and song based playing, with an emphasis on supporting vocals and storytelling through the guitar. More personal and artistic With a background in Irish folk music, my guitar teaching centres on feel, rhythm and connection to the song. Lessons explore traditional and modern folk approaches while building strong technique and musical understanding. Each class is shaped around the student’s interests and pace.

My aim is to create a welcoming space where anyone whether a complete beginner or someone with dance experience can enjoy learning, moving, and celebrating the joy of dance together. This class is for any level! Whether you are already a strong student trying to push for a grade 9 or someone who has struggled with math. The class aims to push any level of student to becoming a strong confident math student, and hopefully the study and organisation skills you pick up from math will transfer to other subjects too. In the first session I'd ask a couple of questions to gauge your current understanding, then build a plan to have you fully prepared by the time term starts. Sessions are built around GCSE and Year 11 prep strengthening core topics, tightening exam technique, and building confidence before the new year starts but the class isn't limited to one year group. Whether you're heading into Year 11, need a refresh on GCSE fundamentals, or want general high school maths support, the sessions flex to meet you where you're at.

Have you always wanted to learn how to dance but didn't know where to start? Do you have some dancing experience but need to work on your confidence or boost your skills / technique? Come and dance with me! My classes are for adults of any age and ability who want to learn to dance, or for anyone who already has dance experience but wants to explore themselves more as a soloist. I aim to develop your confidence with movement and body awareness throughout our sessions, and also work on your freestyling, skills picking up choreography, or even help you choreograph something of your own if you wish! My personal approach to dance is bringing fun to it! If you don't enjoy yourself, you won't continue to learn. Having fun is key to progressing, and we will get to improve technique and confidence along the way! My sessions are an hour long but 15 mins of those minutes are dedicated to warming up, cooling down and also discussing your day / week and your mental state before we start. This is so we can use the thoughts and feelings of the day as tools for our session to help release tension and boost your energy! The meaty part of the session will focus on some techniques, movement and music exploration and short choreographed combinations.
