I specialize in private classes based on students demands. It is very important for me to keep the students happy and enjoying the learning. I also teach them some culture in order to understand the language better. I have been teaching IGCSE French and Portuguese as well as A Levels and IB.I believe in organic teaching and in including the language in real life. My students come from a multicultural background and are used to be open minded. I teach them to be citizens of the world, therefore it is very important to learn a foreign language, in order to feel at ease wherever they go.

I am a native English speaker from the USA with a bachelor's degree and TEFL certification and have been teaching English in Spain for the past two years, having recently moved to Porto. I am offering private English classes for individuals or groups of 2-4 students. Speaking, grammar, writing, Cambridge exam prep, or whatever you may need. I also offer proofreading services and history tutoring as my bachelor's degree was in history. For location, I can offer classes in the building attached to the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos (adjacent to the law school of the University of Porto) or travel to the student's home.
