I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

I am currently in my fourth semester of teacher training and have been giving private tutoring lessons on and off since finishing high school. Two years ago, I started tutoring privately as a side job, giving up to eight hours of private lessons per week in the subjects mentioned above, or whatever else was needed, for students aged 8 to 23.

For me, the personal aspect is central. It's important to me to see each student and try to understand where their understanding is lacking, and then to build on that understanding. With kindness and patience, I try to support their learning and motivate them.
