I am a qualified Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher with more than five years of experience. Currently, I work as a Spanish teacher at Babbel, and other private academies in person and online.

What is my methodology?

In my lessons, you are the main character. The contents of my classes are adapted to your level and your needs. Mainly, it is focused on speaking, and on giving you the tools to be able to communicate in Spanish. Creating a positive and fun environment through games are my essential ingredients. Who says that classes have to be boring?

In addition, you will learn grammar and vocabulary in authentic contexts and situations, as well as about the culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

Extra informatie

Few days before the class, you will have access to all the resources we will be using (presentation, grammar and vocabulary sheets, and homework to practice all the contents seen).

It is strongly recommended to check the materials before the lesson, but it is not compulsory!

My name is Laura and I am a certified teacher of English, as well as Spanish as a Foreign Language.

I studied Applied Languages at Pompeu Fabra University. A year later I did the Master's Degree in Teacher Training in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Barcelona and, this year, I have completed the Master's Degree in Secondary School Teacher Training with a specialization in English.

TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING.

Hello,

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it.
-Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson.
-If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners).
-Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent.
-Motivation, laughter, good humor :-)

My method:
-It is oral based.
-For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated.
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
