To get the most from this class, you’ll need:
• A laptop or desktop computer
• DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) – ideally Pro Tools, but Logic, Ableton, or Reaper are fine
• A pair of studio headphones (e.g., Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Beyerdynamic DT 770, or similar)
• Optional but recommended: a basic audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett, PreSonus, etc.) and studio monitors
• Example audio clips or a short film scene (provided by me if you don’t have your own)

Hello! My name is Troy, and I am a professional sound mixer, music producer, and audiovisual specialist with over 15 years of experience working in the film, television, and music industries.
My work has been featured on Netflix, Amazon Prime, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, and more, and I’ve collaborated with international artists including Emeli Sandé (Billboard-charted). I am also the founder of BeatBoyz Music LLC and an experienced AV technician, with credits spanning feature films, television series, live events, and music production.
