Guitar is one of the most useful musical instruments and it can be played in many different styles. My lessons are based on classical training but accomodated to the liking of each individual student. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or more advanced student, there is always something fun to play on the guitar, from chords to more complicated pieces from different styles. The lessons will contain topics of basic musical theory training such as rhythm, basic harmony and phrasing, classical guitar techique for the left (the position on the fratboard, chords, slurs...) and right hand (plucking, strumming, apoyando/tirando playing, arpeggios...) and different repertoire to the student's liking.

Hello and welcome!

I am a classical guitar student currently studying for Master's degree at Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Bachelor degree form Conservatorio Superior de Música in Vigo, Spain.

Since forever I have been passionate about music, specifically classical guitar, musical interpretation and performance and I would like to share my passion with other people. Every student is different so I would accomodate the way of teaching and the repertoire to each individual and their liking.

The topics I would like to present to my students are the basics of the guitar: position of the body, the guitar and both hands, the fretboard and how to move on it, different techniques for the left hand, such as slurs and chord positions, different techniques for the right hand, such as apoyando and tirando plucking, strumming, legato and staccato playing, arpeggios and scales, how to accompany...; the guitar repertoire from the renaisance, until the modern music and different styles that the student would like to play; and the basics of musical theory that play an important role in performing: rhythm, dynamics, agogics and harmony.

Education

I started studying classical guitar as early as 6 years old. I continued my studies at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. After graduating I decided that I would like to attend university outside of my coutry, so I enroled in Conservatory for Music in Vigo in Spain and studied in class of prof. Margarita Escarpa, where I also got my Bachelor degree. At the moment I am studing at Mozarteum University in salzburg in Austra with prof. Laura Young. I often attend festivals and masterclasses, where I can get knowledge from many incredible professional musicians.

Expérience / Qualifications

In my career I have played many concerts and participated in competitions, where I received the highest prizes. I have worked with many great musicians, played in different chamber groups and was a part of many projects.
