Spanish is quickly becoming one of the world's most popular languages for learning. Whether it's because of its growing influence in the USA, a country whose culture is consumed all around the world, the global rise in Spanish language music, or because of the fact that Spain is consistently the 2nd most visited country in the world (and Mexico is usually in the top 10), people all over the world are starting to learn Spanish.

In my lessons, I can help you learn how to speak, listen to, read and write Spanish, and what we specifically focus on is up to you. We can have conversational classes, we can focus on European or Latin American Spanish, whatever you like, and we can mix different styles from lesson to lesson, or just keep the same structure every time.

About Me

I'm from England, but I fell in love with Spanish and Latin American culture. Still being passionate about my native culture and language though, I have been able to share and teach them to people from other countries, and I love the cross-cultural connections I have developed with my students.

I love teaching English. It feels very rewarding when my students tell me how much more confident they feel when using the language, especially when it helps them in business meetings or when travelling abroad.

I am patient, I understand where and why students make common mistakes (especially for Spanish speakers learning English and vice versa), and my 4 years of teaching so far have helped me become the teacher I am today. Additionally, as I have gone through the process of learning Spanish as an English person, I know exactly what it's like to go through the process of learning Spanish, and my experience in multiple Spanish-speaking countries has helped me gain an all-round understanding of the language.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).
