I am a native Italian speaker with an academic background in languages and specialized translation, and experience working with students from different educational and cultural backgrounds.

I offer personalized language lessons in Italian, English, and French, adapted to each student’s level and objectives. My teaching approach is flexible and practical: lessons can focus on conversation, grammar, homework support, exam preparation, or the revision of written texts, including academic and professional writing.

Ciao ! Je m’appelle Francesco et je vis en Belgique depuis 2018. Je viens d’une petite ville de Ligurie, dans le nord de l’Italie, et je suis actuellement en train de terminer un doctorat en philosophie. Depuis plusieurs années, je donne des cours particuliers à des personnes qui souhaitent apprendre l'italien pour des raisons professionnelles ou simplement par plaisir. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.

I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
