- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
