Hello interested students!

I offer German classes for all ages and levels of proficiency. My goal is to help students learn the language in a fun and effective way. I assign homework after every lesson and provide rich teaching material.
I am here to keep you motivated on the rewarding path of learning German. Whether it is for work, school, university or out of personal interest, I can support you! I also specialize in preparing official language exams.

More concretely, my specialties are:

- Beginners: structured learning of grammar you need right away and practice of new knowledge in our dialogues. Vocabulary is taught through our conversations and in word groups.

- A1-B2 exam preparation (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): based on practice material by the Goethe Institute, innumerous websites and own material

- Learning by conversation: you can’t stand looking at too much grammar because it’s just not for you? The answer: talk and type! We’ll share a document with all our dialogues.

- Refresher training: I can help you get back on track by letting you talk as much as possible. We can also go through grammar and conversation topics that you need to revise. The day of getting rid of pesky repetitive mistakes has come!

You are lucky since brushing up on your German with me will be fun!

- Children: they can be the most demanding students regarding learning methods, but I know how to capture their attention and make them excited for more German!

Structure of lessons:

From experience I know that continuity is key. Therefore, I encourage you to do a little (almost) every day.
At the end of each level there will be a test to check if you are ready for the next level!

I am Vasiliki and I am from Greece. I have lived and worked in Berlin, Germany as an educator, and I have studied the German language thoroughly. I then acquired the teaching license as a professional teacher of German as a foreign language. I possess 13 years of teaching experience in language schools and also online and simultaneously have been a private tutor. I tutor students in pre-vocational secondary education, senior general secondary education and pre-university education (VWO). I have a HEAO Economic Linguistics diploma and have extensive experience in giving private lessons and teaching via Skype.

Because I have both short- and long-term projects, space usually becomes available quickly. Lessons outside regular lesson times (e.g. in connection with intensive exam training) in consultation. The rates mentioned are secondary school rates.

Hi I am Fariël!

I've been learning English and French since I was 10, and German since I was 15. I studied in Berlin, Paris, and Bristol, and later completed my bachelor’s degree Switzerland in French (C2 – native level). I also hold two EF diplomas in English (C2 – native) and German (B2). After that, I did my master’s degree in London.

In our first lesson, we’ll chat about what you want to focus on — maybe pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary. I’ll get a sense of your level through a relaxed conversation, and then we’ll find the best way for you to make progress and enjoy learning the language.
