Dutch lessons for English speaking beginner and intermediate students. I am a native Dutch speaker with love for languages. I am currently living in Portugal and learning the Portuguese language motivated me to help non Dutch speakers get familiar with my own mother language.

As a former primary school teacher and experienced Dutch teacher for adults and children, I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals. Together we will make a plan that fits your personal needs, whether they include exam preparation (Inburgering/Staatsexamen), being able to confidently hold (informal or formal) conversations with friends and coworkers, understanding grammar rules, being able to watch Dutch TV or anything else: I will help you get there! The lessons can be held online or on location in Amsterdam (and the surrounding area).

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
