- LANGUAGE CERTIFICATION & UNIVERSITY EXAMS: get prepared for CILS, CELI, or PLIDA EXAMS: we will concentrate on exam techniques and strategy. The aim is to maximize performance by familiarizing participants with the format of the exam and developing essential exam skills via strategy training and exam practice time simulation activities with a focus on reading, writing, including presentation of arguments and feedback on common error. And if you need to prepare an oral exam or to prepare and present your own project, we'll organize personal tutoring and training.

- My method: I follow a communicative and non-frontal approach in which the student always has a leading role and is stimulated to experiment with the structures and the vocabulary learned. In general, during a lesson, I give equal space to the reinforcement of each competence (comprehension and oral production, comprehension and written production, grammatical insights), but at the request of the student, it is possible to focus on particular objectives. I offer students a wide range of Italian language books for foreigners and the choice of texts or materials to follow will be done together during a preliminary meeting. Multimedia materials such as audio and video and interactive activities.

My name is Natalia. Graduated in Languages and Cultures for international cooperation, I specialize in teaching Italian and Arabic. I am a qualified teacher, having DILS-PG II liv. certification.

I lived in Tunis for three years, where I taught Italian LS (Institute of Italian Culture and Dante Alighieri Society) and a year in Paris to deepen my studies in Arabic language and culture, at the Université Paris 8 Saint Vincennes.

I have many years of experience and training in the teaching of foreign languages in Italy and abroad and with different profiles of learners and a solid competence in language teaching, thanks to a permanent update: I attended training courses on the CLIL methodology in teaching Italian and Arabic language.

I currently live in Milan where I teach Italian as a foreign language; I also carry out cultural and linguistic mediation activities in school contexts to facilitate school-family communication.

I have several previous experiences also in pedagogical activities for children of non formal education to differences, group activities for the insertion of young people in difficult social conditions.

I speak Arabic, Spanish, French and English; I like to travel and discover the world and new contexts, following - possibly - work and study opportunities.

I love teaching languages because it is I firmly believe that knowing languages is a wealth and a powerful tool for understanding and citizenship.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it.
-Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson.
-If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners).
-Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent.
-Motivation, laughter, good humor :-)

My method:
-It is oral based.
-For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated.
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam.

I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts.
