I give piano and music theory/ music writing (composition) classes in regions Brussels and Leuven. I have studied in Italy (piano) and at Brussels Conservatoire (music writing). I like sharing my artistic knowledge and experience with motivated students of all ages and varied backgrounds. In my teaching method I try to focus on the strong points and qualities of the student in order to build up technical skills which will help the student to overcome difficulties in a simple and natural way. It is crucial for me to make the student able to express their personality in an autonomous and creative way.

Graduated in Music - Having studied piano (classical) at the University of Évora (Portugal), Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe (Germany) and at the Aquiles Delle Vigne International Music Academy. She is currently studying a Masters in Performance at LUCA School of Arts, Leuven, Belgium. I have a lot of experience in teaching piano and music theory in different musical styles and theoretical/musical training from children to adults, in official conservatories, music schools and private lessons, In my classes I try to share my musical knowledge, both practically and theoretically. The courses are aimed at those who want to have more direct contact with music, whether for the first time or not. I take great pleasure in teaching and I give great importance to each student. I like to choose repertoire that matches both student's musical tastes and technical work in need. I always try to encourage students and provide quality teaching. Piano lessons adapted to your taste and level. You tell us what you expect from the lessons so that I can give you optimal piano lessons. For example: you want to learn to read and play piano pieces. I must also give you the relevant theory. It is your choice to study additional theory, but it is not necessary. My lessons are therefore efficiently oriented. As a student, you can ultimately choose which piano pieces we work on (it must first be approved by me), so that playing the piano remains fun and educational. I cover classical music, pop music, video games, movies, anime music, etc... so many genres! Another example: you want to make a piano cover of an existing piece (e.g. pop music or movie music). I will give you the theory of chords and reading staves. This way you can get started quickly. Together we will practice enough so that you understand everything well! We can also improvise together on your piano. Feel free to message us if you have any questions :) I have already given private lessons to adults, teenagers and children both online and in person. Both options work great! We do this online via Skype or another app if desired. Physically we do it in Leuven city centre, where there is a handy large indoor bicycle shed. Ideally I teach once a week, you then continue practicing on your piano at home towards the next lesson the following week. If you would like lessons every other week or lessons twice a week, that is also possible for me. Why choose to learn to play the piano? It has been scientifically proven that playing an instrument makes someone smarter (good brain training). You can show your piano skills to others, but you can also make yourself happy and reward through your piano. Hi there! I'm a pianist who recently finished her 10th educational year in Performance Art of Piano, graduating from Lemmensinstitute with a Master's Degree. I have taught to people of all ages for 6 years and I have experience with both beginners and high levelled players. May it be classical or popular music you want to learn, I can help you with anything as long as you have fun!

Since I was 4 years old, piano has taken a big place in my life and heart, because my father has taught me ever since. I am extremely excited to share my passion with interested people, whatever their age! I pay a lot of attention to the position at the piano, so that no injuries occur. I also talk a lot about musical lines and how to produce a good sound on the piano. If you have not taken solfège, I am very happy to help with that as well along with the piano study. Playing the piano is very personal for everyone, both technically and musically. I took lessons with Kristof Neyens (rock school leuven) for several years, and now I would like to share my experience. Classes: Depending on your preference, we can draw up a lesson plan together with individual assignments. I also try to work as much as possible with the genres that you like to listen to yourself, this is of course more motivating (after all, you don't want to try to teach Mozart to a Metal fan ;)) My approach is certainly not like that of the 'music theory' at the academy. From your first lesson you will immediately start playing songs. I only use music theory if it is really necessary or if you would like to delve into it. Practical: I follow distance education so I can actually go at any time of the week, online lessons are also a possibility. I am a master's student at the Brussels Royal Conservatory. I give piano lessons at my home (Kessel-lo or in Herent) on a grand piano (also possible on location (+ extra fee)) The lessons last 1 hour (recommended), also possibility up to 30 minutes. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
