I am Saphira and I moved from Austria to the Netherlands 1,5 years ago to do my Master’s in Astronomy at Leiden University. I started tutoring in high school, where I helped my classmates and younger students in various subjects. My main strengths have always been German and Mathematics. Since I began tutoring in high school and have continued ever since, I now have 7 years of tutoring experience with children, teenagers, and university students.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and goal-oriented: I break topics down into clear steps, explain the “why” behind methods, and help you practice until you feel confident. I’m especially good at helping students who feel stuck or think they’re “not good at languages/math”. We’ll build strong fundamentals and make steady progress.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. Instead, say "have to". In 1965, the Queen said "I must go to the lavatory". Everyone else in the 21st century said "I have to go to the toilet."
