Hi, I am Beecharm, a passionate character and mascot designer who loves to create cute and imaginative characters and mascots that heal and motivate people under daily pressures which may also transform people's lives with the use of cute therapy. My drawing styles are kawaii (cute in Japanese), manga, and kodomo (children in Japanese). I graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Visual Communication Design from Raffles Design Institute Jakarta. I also completed my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at Raffles Design Institute Singapore.

Why characters and mascot designs? Characters and mascots make products more interesting when applied which improves a business's brand awareness. They can also be turned into merchandise as gifts to others.

In this lesson, you will learn to draw characters and mascots out of your imagination in cute and imaginative styles and create some fun art projects out of your characters such as doodle art in manual ways.

Hi, I am beecharm who can make designs out of your imaginations, be it a character or a mascot to tell the brand story of your business.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Graphic Design, I help businesses and individuals to design character and mascots, illustrations, and picture books to be applied on products and help people learn the art and mandarin courses to improve business's brand awareness, empower people and enrich their life. I specialize in kawaii and kodomo art styles that are most loved by children.

Currently, I am finding freelance character and mascot designer remote jobs. My preferred working location is Jakarta, Indonesia.

In this lesson, you will learn to trace your characters and mascots sketches in Adobe illustrator and turn them into digital art. We can also do some fun projects such as making product mockups in Adobe Photoshop out of your digital characters and mascots/ creatures.

Learn Chinese in a fun way and apply it to your daily life

You will learn Chinese by applying Chinese into your daily life. Activities may include reading Chinese storybooks, continue the story in Chinese, playing Chinese games, singing Chinese songs, take a role in a play, etc, anything in Chinese!

I can also adjust the study materials if you have your own study materials or curriculum.

In this class, we skip the theory. Your child creates real things.

What they'll do:

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO.
Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment).

My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris.

I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings.

In this course, you will learn how to scan any object using Reality Capture software. This efficient and powerful software was first used for the preservation of archaeological objects and historical monuments, but is now used for video games, VFX and virtual reality, as it offers tools and results of a impressive quality, all in an easy-to-use interface.

In this course, you will be able to learn:
-How does photogrammetry work?
-How to take suitable photos
-How to prepare these photos for their use in the software
-How to use these photos to reconstruct an object in 3D and apply a realistic texture to it
-How to optimize scans for custom use (games, movies, etc.)

Gradually, we will solidify these skills to learn how to build a library of highly realistic objects based on high resolution scans.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the halos. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

I have a bachelor's degree in digital arts, obtained at Saint Luc in 2016. During my studies I made live models, had courses in color, 2D animation, perspectives and character design.
I mainly draw with a graphics tablet.
During the lessons we will see how:
- look at an image, understand how the artist composes it, then learn to reproduce a style.
- use layers
- use filters to give more life to images
- learn different coloring methods, from grayscale coloring to colorization with filters
- use different brushes

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
