Présentation
As a Comparative Literature student at UCL, I have recently decided to pursue further academic studies after graduation, with the goal of becoming a teacher—either at the university or secondary school level. This role would mark my first official steps toward that goal.
Back home in Buenos Aires, I taught English privately to younger students and coordinated beginner teen Latin American literature classes for a group of eleven. These experiences allowed me to develop lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to different learning styles, and foster a supportive environment for language acquisition.
Beyond my personal experience, I have a strong pedagogical foundation. My grandmother founded a Language Teacher Training Institute, where she designed structured Spanish courses for more than 250 students, from beginner to advanced levels. Through her, I have gained access to high-quality Spanish teaching materials and methodologies, which would directly support my tutoring. More importantly, I have always admired the way she approaches language teaching—not just as a technical skill, but as a means of breaking geographic and cultural barriers. I want to offer my students that same opportunity: to see language as a gateway to possibility, understanding, and individual growth.
