About Me

I am convinced that everyone is able to learn to play music! Fun is central to my lessons. I teach all ages and like to adapt my lessons to each person and level. In addition to classical music, I would also like to include other musical genres in the lessons, depending on the interests of the student.

In my 20+ years playing the cello I have been lucky to build an international career as a solo and orchestral musician in places like Bremen (Germany), Sweden (Göteborg), Spain (Malaga), and Belgium (Gent). I have 4+ years worth of experience teaching online/in person, in multiple countries, as well as a C1 Cambridge certificate of English. I also have a B1 level of Nederlands. I have music articles published as well.

My philosophy of teaching is to teach my students in a comprehensive way how to use their body 100% efficiently.

I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career.
