Über mich

I have 15 years of experience teaching mathematics & physics. Back in the High-School, I was a student of math Olympiad at the national level, in 2005. Then I did a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on telecommunication systems, and then a master's degree in applied mathematics. Afterwards, I worked as a machine learning researcher at the technical university of Berlin, and it's been 4 years I am working as senior Data Scientist & ML engineer in industry.

One ability I have always had, has been to dissect complex topics in a simple language for others. I can connect with my addressee (or students) and find out the knowledge gap and present the lesson/topic in such an order to make him/her completely understand the idea. This, not only has helped me become a good teacher, but I even use this skill to communicate the result of my work to non-technical audience in my industry.

Hallo,

ich biete seit 7 Jahren Nachhilfe in den Fächern Mathematik und Informatik (Anwendungs- und theoretische Fächer) an. Ich habe mein Informatikstudium (Msc) an der Freien Universität Berlin absolviert und meine Studienzeit vor kurzer Zeit beenden können.

Sowohl Schülern als auch Studenten naturwissenschaftlicher Fächer biete ich gerne meine Hilfe an. Ich bin 30 Jahre alt, zeitlich flexibel (Verfügbarkeit vormittags und nachmittags, ebenso an den Wochenenden) .

In “Akutfällen”, z.B. vor Prüfungen, habe ich auch schon intensive Begleitung betrieben, damit die Chancen auf das Bestehen der Prüfung sich maximal erhöhten :).

The best thing you can do is tell me which topics your child is currently dealing with in class and what exactly your child is having problems with.

Hallo, ich biete Nachhilfe in den oben genannten Fächern an.
Ich habe dieses Jahr mein Abitur an einem Gymnasium mit 1,3 abgeschlossen. Meine Leistungskurse waren Physik und Chemie, daher sind mir die Schulrahmenpläne dieser Fächer ebenfalls durchaus geläufig. Ich werde ebenfalls durch ein Stipendium für meine exzellenten Leistungen in der Schule gefördert. Ich helfe sowohl bei Hausaufgaben, als auch bei der Prüfungsvorbereitung oder dabei Stoff durchzusprechen der bisher unverständlich war.
Der Unterricht kann entweder bei euch zu Hause oder wenn gewünscht auch Online (z.B. via Skype) stattfinden.

mein Name ist Casper und ich studiere Betriebswirtschaft auf der HTW Berlin. Zur Zeit befinde ich mich im 4. Fachsemester.

Ich habe zwei Ausbildungen abgeschlossen und verfüge über fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Mathematik, Deutsch, Englisch, Physik und Geschichte.

Gerne biete ich Lehrstunden an, in denen die Schüler bzw. deren Eltern entscheiden was unterrichtet werden soll und auch wie der Unterricht aussehen soll. Die Eltern dürfen bei den Lehrstunden selbstverständlich anwesend sein, wenn Sie dies wünschen.

Sonst kann ich auch einfach dem Umfang der Unterrichtes bestimmen, dieser würde sich dann aus einer Präsentation, Erklärungen, Fragen und natürlich Übungen zusammensetzen. Ich habe dafür natürlich meine Unterrichtseinheiten vorbereitet. Dieser bringe ich entweder ausgedruckt oder als Präsentation auf dem Computer einfach mit.

Ich bin kompetent und geduldig im Umgang mit Kindern und Jugendlichen.

My professional background is in biochemistry—this field may not sound like it, but it also encompasses in-depth knowledge of mathematics and physics, in addition to biology and chemistry.
