I teach classical, rock and jazz guitar. Courses cover melody, chords and fingerstyle. I pick classic songs which demonstrate important playing techniques. It is important that the student enjoys the lessons. You are free to pick the songs you want to learn.

You will need a guitar. For beginners I recommend a nylon string classical guitar, nothing too expensive. I try to make the lessons fun, I pick songs which develop technique. I like to teach classical because it is a good basis for other styles. For more advanced students we look at songs that you like to play and try to master them. For improvisation, I like to pick jazz standards and solo over them

I began learning classical guitar while at school. I reached grade 5. In my teens I became interested in rock guitar and joined a few bands. After seeing Jeff Beck play in Sydney I became interest in jazz fusion and then jazz. Due to the large number of guitarists in Sydney I took up the piano reaching grade 4 in classical piano. I started playing in bands as a keyboard player. Now I concentrate on classical and jazz from my new home in the Netherlands

"Music is a social experience". That's the main thing that, regardless of wanting to be a professional musician or just play to have fun, music can offer to us: we can learn how to be among people, and get to know things about music itself, people and even ourselves! It's also a great way to get our own personality and have fun: it enhances our sensitivity and it's just a fun way to spend time!

Anyways, how rude, I'm Enrico, a world-touring guitar player, composer and band leader, and I'm really glad you're reading this presentation. I grew up in a small town in the South of Italy, Crispiano, where I started playing guitar as a game, because it was such a great way to spend my afternoons and get together with my friends, just like playing video games or soccer, and here I am now ... my passion became my life!

I like to teach that in my lessons: how fun it is to discover new things on your instrument and share them with all your friends ... starting with me. I'd love you to play with me during our lessons and learn things by doing them, starting with what you already like, playing your favorite songs together so you can go out and do the same with your friends!

I've been lucky enough to meet teachers and colleagues that had the same approach with me, starting from my classical guitar studies in Italy, through the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I'm currently finishing my jazz guitar Bachelor, till the masters or jazz music in New York City, which I had the luck to study with, like Peter Bernstein, Barry Harris or Dave Kikoski.

This led me, despite my young age, to share the stage with great superstars on the international jazz scene such as Joe Magnarelli, Gadi Lehavi, Felix Rossy and many others and recording my first album, "Social Music" out with A.MA Records in July 2019!

I am Eva Calvo, a professional Spanish guitarist. This year I start my master's studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
I offer private guitar lessons for children, adults, beginner level and advanced level.

I am Álvaro, a professional spanish guitar player. Face to face lessons or high tech online lessons are possible. Completely personalized, with me you would be able to learn classic guitar from another perspective, songs arrangements, improvisation and the basis of the flamenco music.

Music has always been my biggest passion and I really enjoy sharing it with other people. My main music genres are pop, rnb, ballades, a bit of jazz, and soul.
I can read musical notes, but I mainly play by ear (which can be learned too!). I am into music theory and how it helps to understand what one hears and plays.
When it comes to singing, I know some basic techniques and can help with pitch, harmonizing, control, and feeling comfortable/confident when singing.
I can teach some basics about improvisation and composition

I am a professional classical guitarist and lutenist with many years of teaching experience. I tailor lessons to my students' needs and interests. This may mean training a young classical guitarist for a professional career, teaching a beginner to play his or her favorite pop song, or anything in between! Learning to play the lute, mandolin, or ukulele are other possibilities, or perhaps improving one's knowledge of music theory. I have a background in electric guitar, electric bass, and traditional Irish music. Whatever the style or instrument, I always strive to impart or reinforce the fundamentals of technique and musicianship.

Having fun is the first important step in order to learn more about this beautiful instrument. With the Suzuki method you can easily learn all styles of music and study a big repertoire of technics. We can discover different aspects of the guitar by creating personal and individual exercises in class. It's a different way to learn and a really visual method used to make learning fun for all ages. It does not matter if you are an absolute beginner with no music background. All classes can be recorded with audio devices and the music can be transcribed in tablature.

Learning guitar is a beautiful process but can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, that's natural!, There is a lot to learn like harmony, melody, rhythm, technique, licks, phrasing, playing solos or performing bases etc...
The issue comes when trying to learn everything at once with chaotic learning methods.
