Hi there

My name is Phil and I am a professional Actor and Musician who is still very active in the professional industry.

I'm here to share some of the knowledge, experience, and skills that I have learned after 3 years of training (Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts) and over 14 years of professional experience.

I have worked extensively in a wide range of areas within the industry and have experience in the West End (The Lion King, Once), TV (Red Dwarf, Diagnosis), Voice Over (various Video Games), Touring and International theatre, devising and even using my skills to train people in the corporate sector.

I am also a singer, musician and puppeteer.

I offer a no-fuss, no-pretension, welcoming approach that invites everyone to sharpen their skills or take their first steps into the world of Acting.

To this end, I also co-founded Acting Unlocked, an Acting coaching service offering 8-week workshops and one-on-one classes as well as Masterclasses in more specific areas.

I also teach workshops at a number of top London-based Drama Schools.

Hi There

My name is Phil and I am a mixed-Race, London-based Actor and Musician.

I have worked extensively in the professional industry since graduating Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2009.

Since then I have performed in everything from plays, musicals, TV, Voice-over, and film and would love to share all my experience with you in a welcoming, no-fuss, and engaging way.

My credits include The Lion King (London West End), Once (The London Palladium), Little Shop Of Horrors (UK Tour), Our Town (Regent's Park Theatre) Handbagged (English Theatre Frankfurt), The History Boys (Theatre By The Lake, Keswick), Red Dwarf (Dave), Diagnosis (BBC), Guitar Hero Live (Video Game) and many others.

I also recently set up ActingUnlocked.co.uk with a good friend of mine and offer group workshops, one-on-one tuition, and even corporate confidence training through that business.

I really believe that Acting is for everyone. Whether you're a professional who is looking to sharpen your skills, prep for an audition or really focus on a specific part of your craft, OR if you're an absolute beginner just looking to take your first steps into the world of Acting, I believe I am the right coach for you.

I pride myself on leading with kindness, enthusiasm, honesty, and empathy and I'm really keen to help you through our sessions by making them as engaging and unintimidating as possible.

Acting is a variety of opportunities: it's playful, as an actor you can work in different fields, theatre, film, voice-over and radio.
I can help you to grow and be confident to get into the acting school or into work. Furthermore, I can teach you how to be able to work independently on a role.
With children I love to jump into improvisations and see and guide where it goes to create something magnificent.
If you need more confidence in public speaking I am all ears and will help you to gain the confidence.
Moreover, we can work on Radio podcasts as I have over 10 years experience in directing, producing and hosting podcasts.
What ever it is you want to work on, or refresh your knowledge I'll pick you up where you stand.

I'm a professional actor, trained at Cygnet Theatre in Exeter, now living in London. I have extensive experience performing in immersive theatre - communicating, catching and holding the attention of a wide variety of people.

I also have experience in storytelling, working with and teaching children of all ages, as well as writing and producing theatre.

Starting drama classes as a teenager was one of the most important things I ever did. It help me build confidence, develop empathy and ground me as the person I am today.

I love performing and creating experiences for my audience - watching their faces as they're surprised, entertained or disgusted by the stories I tell.

But just as important as that is the opportunity to share some of the tools I learned from drama school with other people - tools that can be used every day in communication, emotional regulation and play.
